My stay at Kings Head Inn was good, thanks to the really good staff and delicious food. The accommodations were comfortable, especially the spacious cottage room. However, I did notice some minor cleanliness issues that could be improved.

Rooms

I stayed in a beautifully decorated cottage room, which was spacious and had a huge bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. Though the mattress could use an upgrade for more comfort.
Service
10.0
The staff were consistently warm and friendly, making me feel at home throughout my stay. They provided personalized attention with helpful recommendations.
Location
8.0
The location was ideal, a short 10-minute walk into Rye center, though I did notice it was situated on a main road which could be a bit noisy at times.
Dining
9.0
Dining was a highlight, with amazing food including the best pork belly I've ever had. Breakfast was equally satisfying, although I found the dinner prices to be on the higher side.
Facilities
7.0
Although the general facilities were good, I encountered some cleanliness issues in the bathroom, which detracted slightly from the experience.

I had a lovely stay at Kings Head Inn in Rye. The cozy atmosphere was complemented by friendly staff who made me feel welcome. My room was comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the quality of the food served. However, there was a bit of a walk back from the town center, which might not be suitable for everyone.

Rooms

I stayed in one of the cottage rooms, and the bed was quite comfortable. Despite some minor wear and tear, my room was a good size and well-maintained.

The staff here were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They provided quick service without making me feel rushed, which was much appreciated.
Location

Kings Head Inn is conveniently located just a short walk from the center of Rye, but the return trip can be a bit steep, which might be a challenge for some.

I had a great time at the Kings Head Inn overall—even though there were a few hiccups. The staff were super friendly and really made me feel appreciated. My room was spacious and cozy, but it was quite warm. Dining was a mixed bag; some meals were delicious, while others missed the mark. All in all, it was a solid stay.

Rooms
8.0
My cottage room was spacious, clean, and cozy with a huge bed that felt perfect to sink into after a long day. However, it was a bit too hot, and the thermostat could use an upgrade. Some noise from traffic did sneak in from the front, but it quieted down at night.
Service
10.0
What really stood out was the staff. They were so welcoming and attentive, always ready to help out and make sure I was comfortable. They go above and beyond, making this place feel like a real family-run gem.
Location
9.0
The location is quite good, with just a ten-minute stroll down to Rye's center. Perfect for exploring the town, but I definitely recommend getting a cab back if you're feeling a bit tired afterward.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was generally nice, with decent options, but there were some inconsistencies. While I enjoyed the scrambled eggs, I had a not-so-great experience with the cooked breakfast on another day, which looked a bit greasy. I also ordered pizzas, but they were undercooked that night. Some meals were spot-on, but the dining experience felt hit or miss.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included a nice little patio for my room, which I appreciated. The atmosphere was cozy, especially with the fireplace creating a nice vibe, but sometimes it felt a bit rushed in the dining area due to the busyness.

While I loved the location's proximity to Rye town, a bit of road noise could be heard at times. Overall, the experience was highly enjoyable, and I didn't want to leave.
